March 2022 Scholarship Testimonial..
Dear the East Gippsland Community Foundation,
My name is (edited for privacy), and I have recently received one of your very generous grants to help support me and my relocation to Mannix College and my intense studies of the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University.
The scholarship has helped myself and my family tremendously, taking pressure off us.
Myself and my family would like to thank the East Gippsland Community Foundation for the incredible opportunities the scholarship has offered me and would also like to extend this gratitude to the board members for making me a recipient.
The money has been directly given to my college, covering my accommodation and food, as well as enabling me to take stress off my shoulders and indulge myself in my new community to make lifelong friends here.
I am loving my university course already, and its only week 4! I am learning lots about the science behind the body and how we are enabled to do the things we do daily without a second thought.
Again, thank you so much for the amazing scholarship and allowing me to immerse myself in the opportunities I am given here at university and college.
