Four Remote community halls have received upgrades with the gippsland community foundation
The Gippsland Community Foundation is pleased to announce funding of $100,000 towards critical upgrades for four community halls across far East Gippsland. This funding comes from the East Gippsland Community Bushfire Disaster Relief Fund, which was established through generous public donations following the devastating Black Summer Fires of 2019/2020. COMMUNITY BUSHFIRE RECOVERY GRANTS 2025
We have a further East Gippsland Community Bushfire Recovery Grant commencing on 1 March 2025. Our application portal will be open from 8am on Saturday, 1 March and close at 6pm on Sunday, 13th April 2025. Priority will be to East Gippsland communities heavily impacted by the Black Summer Fires of 2019/2020 with funding available to support bushfire recovery, community-led capacity building, and disaster preparedness projects and activities.
