2023 Scholarships opened on 1 December 2022 and closed on 29 January 2023. Twenty-five students across East Gippsland Black Summer Fire impacted communities shared a total pool of $160,500 for post-secondary studies in 2023.

March 2022 Scholarship Testimonial.. Dear the East Gippsland Community Foundation, My name is (edited for privacy), and I have recently received one of your very generous grants to help support me and my relocation to Mannix College and my intense studies of the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University.  The

2022 Scholarships have been awarded to bushfire impacted students Scholarships ranging between $2,500 and $7,000 have been awarded to 14 students across East Gippsland.  Scholarship recipients were able to demonstrate they were heavily impacted by the 2019/2020 bushfires.
