Bushfire Recovery Grants have been awarded to projects that help East Gippsland to build back better from the Black Summer fires. Priority was given to grassroots, community-led initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities within the themes of:
- Bushfire recovery
- Community led capacity building
- Disaster planning and preparedness
